I used .Net Matrix library for some time and it worked well. Today I formated disc, installed Windows XP, installed Visual Studio 2005, installed library again, and I runned some of my previous projects containing this library. I got such error:

Could not load file or assembly 'Bluebit.MatrixLibrary, Version=4.2.32.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=c915370950fbbd9f' or one of its dependencies. This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800736B1)

I placed License file on every place where it had been before my formating and new Windows installing, so I don't have the idea what is wrong. I have Single machine license for 32-bit.
I used Windows XP sp 2 before, also installed this version now, and same version of Visual Studio. I have .NET Framework 2, and I think that is ok.
I hope someone can help me.
Thanks

Please make sure that you have .NET Framework 2.0 installed in your machine.

I installed .NET Framework 3.5, and now it is almost working, which means I need to activate my library, I used activation key I had used last time, but it didn't work. My e-mail address is cukaricn@yahoo.com. Thanks

I cannot send activation keys over the web.

Please use the "Activate by Email" option and email the activation data us.

I seem to be having this exact same problem on our test machine and have been unable to find the cause.

I am installing the .NET 3.5 framework on the test machine as this does make sense as a possible cause (since this version of the framework is not installed on the test machine but it is on all the development machines).

I will update this thread when i know if this solves my issue or not.

I've now fixed this error.

Installing the .NET framework 3.5 resolves the above issue and it is now running perfectly.

OK then I guess everything is fixed.

.NET Framework 3.5 is actually a superset of .NET Framework 2.0

NML requires 2.0

I have the same problem but reinstalling .NET 3.5 SP1 doesn't help. I'm using shareware version of .NET Matrix Library (does that matter?) downloaded from official site. When I run Tutorial project that came with installation I get the following error

Could not load file or assembly 'Bluebit.MatrixLibrary, Version=4.3.32.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=c915370950fbbd9f' or one of its dependencies. This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800736B1)

The error occurs whenever I try to include Bluebit.MatrixLibrary namespace. I would like to test the software but are unable. Any ideas how to solve the problem? Thanks.
